One of my favorite moments from the ‘11/’12 Timberwolves’ season was their beard competition for fans. No, seriously. I thought this phenomenal, hysterical, and brilliant. You can’t get much more of a ringing endorsement than that, can you?
The team gave four tickets to the winning entry and even brought in the Founder of the Minneapolis Beard and Moustache Club for the final decision. Who knew that organizations like this even existed? Here’s a belated congratulations to the winner and those that made the final cut for the video!
I truly believe the Wolves have the best marketing and digital teams in the NBA. The organization has clearly made this a priority in its communications plans over the past few years. If David Kahn can be credited for this, you have to give him kudos on this one.
